The Blue Shark from David Lespect, a french knifemaker

Hello everybody,

let me introduce you the BLUE SHARK,

This knife has been fully handmade by a young french knifemaker (and bladesmith) called DAVID LESPECT,

you can find his website here : http://www.davidlespect.com/

David started his new job as knifemaker in 2007.

I ordered the BLUE SHARK in 2009 and ask David to build a left handed liner-lock knife around the BLUE MAPPLE WOOD HANDLES I had !

here's the result

it is a very comfortable and simple knife. Perfect for EDC use.

the blade has been forged in 100CR6 steel. it has titanium liners and is very light.

you can find additional pictures of this knife in my gallery.

Take care

I like the blade shape.  It is almost a drop point but the cutting edge is more along the lines of a wharncliff.  Looks very user friendly
