Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I was wondering how many knives the majority of collectors on IKC, have purchased this year. Starting with Jan. 1, 2013. I have bought 4 and thats a little more than I usually buy, by this time of year. Oh, by the way, I just ordered another one. Well my birthdays coming up. LOL

Thats great Charles, I just recieved a couple of old Robeson fixed blades, that are hammer forged. I want to try to rehandle them, just to learn more. I love, hammer forged knives, and Robeson is a quality brand. All for fun, my good buddies. I'll try post some pictures, if I can ever get going on my knives projects.lol

I just purchased two more knives.  I won two bids on ebay.  One is a Colonial Prov. USA Barlow.  The other is a little Bassett keychain knife/multi tool.  But the Bassett is unusual.  I have never seen another like it.  One side has a scale over the metal that has two sailing ships on it.  It almost looks like scrimshaw in the pictures on ebay.  If the pictures on ebay are any indication, they are both in excellent conditiion.  The two knives cost me a total of $16.41 with shipping.  When they arrive I will post pictures.

I think we started something here.  I wonder if we could get SMKW to label one of their inexpensive fruit knives Fruit of the Bloom with a flower shield?  I would buy one.

I'm with you, Miss Jan, a Fruit of the Bloom, might be the next great pattern of our day. We could see, which production knife company produces the first line of knives. The brown or yellow are sure to be best sellers, I think. Hey, what was the topic of this Blog..? LOL

OK, I stopped counting at 25.  That sounds like a lot of knives but it doesnt feel like enough LOL

Now I want a fruit of the bloom
