I'm back.... I was terminated by FedEx in last April. My boss believe I broke FedEx's policy. Not true..There is NO broke policy's. Nothing with the policy. Because My reason for being late was construction on Highway 287 in whole month. I would allow 1 hour to get to work because of the construction. I did doing a right thing, I did use my pager to send text message to my ex-boss about late. My boss does not know how to deal with a deaf person. All he would do would yell at me. Instead of having an interpreter there to communication with me. I was not happy with him. So I quit my job.
Almost live on the street....... Since no job for four months... Social Security Benefit stop... I owe $26,000 overpayment to Social Security Office in between 2013 to 2015. Because Social Security didn't warn me about it without me know nothing. It should warn me before in 2013. But it didn't..... So My mom and I called my lawyer help me to fight and sue Social Security office. Why? The Social Security mention that i am no longer disability... huh? They should know better I am disability. Until I win the case last month ago. Social Security Benefit is back. I did search other job in two month with my job coach. And I went to a job interview at UPS. The UPS interested in me. Few days later, They called me I get hired for UPS..... Start new job on Monday for... Sunrise shift. I can accept that.. LOLOL I am doing okay.

Wow, you been through the mill there, Fingers.. Glad to see that all worked out for you.. Hang in there.. It'll get better!!!!!!!!!! Welcome back!!!!!!
Wishing you well in your new adventure. I had a similar situation when my mother passed away. The SS administration is so messed up it's a crime in it's self! Keep your head up and try to keep smiling :)

I am so glad to hear that things are working out for you. I understand. I have been fighting with Social Security for almost 2 years now. It is alot like spitting in the wind my friend!
I am just very glad to see you back Fingers, WELCOME HOME
!! . Congrats with the new employment . !!
.
I do hope the UPS employment comes with some benefits.
Benefits are very valuable in today's world.
.
The importance of employment goes beyond the monetary compensation .. which is truly why we all do it.
The sense of self worth attained with gainful employment is also very important.
.
Congrats again, Michelle !
.
Enjoy
D ale
Glad things are looking up for you Michelle!
