iKC Chat Online!!!

Hello all you iKC members out there!! Did you know that iKC has a CHAT feature? On the lower right hand side of your screen is the chat option. Just click on the words "iKnifecollector Chat" and the chat box will open up!

On iKC there is always someone online, but it seems like there are few people who use this chat option. When i asked around about it i learned that people just didnt know it was there! It is a great way to quickly talk to someone, and not have to wait for the email transactions.

On the right side of the chat box is a list of members who are online right at that particular time. By clicking on their screen name, you have the option to view their profile page, or enter a private chat.

We always have some great conversations on there, and i have learned so much since i started using it. I think everyone should at least try it out!

If you have any suggestions, tips, or any other information on this topic please let us know.

Comment by J.J. Smith III on January 14, 2010 at 23:08: One thing that I found distracting was the problem of the chat box opening up on all iKC pages that were open . I've found that if you access the chat from the button at the top of the page a larger box will open that doesn't interfere with other iKC pages.

Now if only something can be done about the delays. (Wound up talking to myself the other night.)

Yeap, that chirp, chirp, chrip sound of folks talking. I love it. Funny story- the other night my wife and I were watching a movie in the other room and the chirping was so intense, my wife finally said, "What is that noise coming from your computer?" I proudly told her- "That's folks talking on iKC!"

Then she said- "What's iKC?" LOL
