I was thinking how tough it would be to give up the use of a knife or reading about them, for even one day, I got the shakes just thinking about it. Maybe if I develop a 10 step program, I will be able to bring my addiction under control. I need those who are not suffering too bad ( yet ) to make suggestions as to what those 10 steps might be.

Jan, I think there's a book in the making. "How I Became An Enabler Through Spiritual Awakening" The story of a woman who heard a voice, climbed a mountain, and returned, bearing a laptop with a message from above, "Ye shall all collect knives."

I have found I have a complex compulsion with a burning desire to fullfil my dreams of a wonderful knife collection. OK, some may say that is a problem

Step two is to believe that a Power greater than myself could restore sanity...started hanging around with Knife Makers

Step Three is continue to take personal inventory and when wrong promptly correct it....cant have the wrong tang stamp with that Case knife in your inventory list

Step Four Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, I bought a knife site to carry this message to other addicts, and now we all collect knives

Somewhere I think a wrong turn LOL

Scatch that...these steps only make you enjoy being an enabler
