Look what I traded for at work today.

This is a knife that I have had on my list for a while now. Just curious if any one knows what it is. The guy I got it from said he bought it in 1979 or 1980. Also said he remembers that he paid $50.00 for it. The box is long gone but he still has the sheath for it and will bring it to work Monday. I told him it is going into my display case and after it gets a good cleaning it will probably never see the light of day again as long as I'm alive. He made me promise to bring it back to work one more time to let him see it all cleaned up. I think it will look pretty good sitting next to my Texas Lockhorn.

A good trade is when all parties are happy and it sounds as though you are very happy.  Nice knife, show it to us all sparkley.

Seller's market on most knives. But you were willing to pay for it, which means it was worth it to you. Good for you.
