Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Well....the Napanoch tool kit made it to my house tonight.  Dang, that was fast huh??

This thing is sweet.

It is probably circa 1908 or so...anyway it is well over 100 years old!

The leather pounch is in great shape.  It folds and closes just fine with the two clips intact and working just fine!

As are the 7 little internal areas that hold the knife and tools.  Nothing is ripped or torn or mistreated at all.  This surprises the heck outta me!

So each tool has it's own little holder within the pouch and everything fits snug as a bug in a rug.

I will try not to overwhelm you with pics...

The leather itself seems to have been well taken care of except one owner (probably the first owner, Leon Hanna), put his name on the back of the pouch.  No problem Leon!

I wish my Grandpa was still around, I would give this to him.  He would be so proud...

I may have to do two posts here.

The final pic in this set shows the pouch full and closed.

In the next set of pics I will try to show how the tools fit into the knife holder itself.  Sweet.....

So rare to find all the pieces together including the pouch, Leon and his followers truly cared for this piece of cutlery history.  Glad to see it is with another person that will cherish what it has been through to still be here in this condition.  Great find Lee.  Thanks for sharing
