The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
So my bummed period is over and I did get a couple of things in the mail. Nothing great. A couple of old clay poker chips. One with an elephant carved on it and the other a guy in a speedboat on a lake. Probably Lake Tahoe because it is from Crystal Bay.
And then two knives:
1) Smith & Wesson Texas Hold em pretty cracked ice handles. About 3.5" closed Smith & Wesson engraved on the blade with what looks like a straight flush. SMITH &/WESSON on the tang. The back of the tang says THC Hammer Forged. The secondary blade has the same markings on the tang but no THC (not enough room).
2) Pewter Norway, with a Norwegian long boat engraved on one side of the case. Like 20 rowers. Different for sure and a different size. The case is 1.25" wide. The S&W is only 0.5". The Norway knife is 2.75 inches long so it's real funky looking. The pewter is highly polished for now.
I'll take some pics of the Norway& post em just because it's different.
And it looks like I will win an auction for a Wallkill River Work Barlow.
I have to ignore the folders for awhile and focus myself on switchblades. Even though I love pocket knives and penknives. And poker chips. And tin toys.
Focus. Focus. Focus!!
