That's a shame. That's a lot of expensive knives there - I didn't realize how many until I looked at the link. I feel for the businessman. Businesses are so difficult to run. Something like this just adds to the burden, more work, more anxiety, more cost in insurance and loss and on and on it goes.

RDU is what? Raleigh-Durham??

This has organized crime, written all over it. They new what they were stealing and already have plans on selling it. I would guess, it's going to go out the country for sale. They will be too hot to sell here in the USA, so the trick will be to smuggle them out of the country.

This is just my opinion. It is sad that people this smart don't try make a legal living. Shame on you!

Max Thank you!

Brian, the plane they were was delayed.  The luggage (knives) went out on the first plane.  They were stolen from a locked luggage storage area and yes the po have pics, just waiting for the release of them

Wow, this makes me sick. I wouldn't even want to guess at the total retail value of all of those beautiful knives. I hope the scumbag gets caught and punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Every airport has cameras. I would hope they could provide him a pick. We always are waiting at bagage claim well before just to prevent this. One of the news shows did a story a while back about how easy it is to grab a bag off the belt. The crooks knew what to look for bag type, expensive luggage, video and camera cases. Hope they get them.
