Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

One of the aspects I love about our community is the wide range of knife interests represented by our members. When you have time take a stroll through the member list and read each member's profile and their interests. It is easy to see collector niche's range from advertising knives to old bowies, tactical to high-end customs and I just love it. For the newer collectors too, taking these Sunday drives through our community will provide many excellent ideas for collection directions.

When you read a member's interest and it strikes a cord with you, add a note to their page letting them know. I'll promise you you'll have a friend for life, because as you know each of us spend a lot of time and money building our collection and to have someone who appreciates the fruit of our efforts, really makes my day- and I'm sure it will theirs too.

The other thing you may find, as I have several times already, is that member you are visiting might be from just around the corner from you, or from a neighboring real life community. That is just what happened to me recently and I called the member and met him at his home. I spend a couple of hours enjoying his passion for the peanut pattern he collects- plus to my surprise, he gave me a toenail! The only one he had. :)

I'd also encourage you to read through your own profile again, if it has been awhile. See if there is additional information you'd like to share with us to help us get to know you better too.

Enjoying knife collections and getting to know our fellow members is what iKC is all about. The social networking and connecting of collectors is what sets iKC apart from knife forums.

Thanks for your participation in our knife community.
