The knives are on thier way, lets have a little fun and get to know our neighbors

So here are the guidelines

Post a picture of your IKC Community knife with something unique to your area and enter it here.  Lets see how creative we can be with our own state or country

I will choose 3 impartial judges.  I think we run this from November 9th to November 24th.  Lets see if we can get every knife to show back up on here.  Ready, set, SHOOT YOUR PICTURES!

Here you can see the Geppetto in the Alps together with some Swiss specialties ;-)

Ivars, can't help but love your positive attitude!

A Geppetto with the Alps as a background?  WOW

Martin, be sure to take a pic to enter in our contest.  8% is comparable to FL at 7.5% tax

My knife came yesterday! WOW I like it very much!

Fortunately in Switzerland I've to pay only 8% for taxes.

Thanks guys for make this knife possible.

Rusty...makes me want to visit Wyoming

Rusty,

Your photograph looks like it came from the Bureau of Tourism for the great state of Wyoming! It seems to shout: "Come see Wyoming!"

I'll bet that Horned Toad is thinking that somebody needs to get that Prometheus dude a pair of pants! That ain't no knife in his pocket! lol

Cool pic!

Thanks for breaking that down like that, Ivars. Living in the States, I will never complain about the price of a knife again -- now knowing that it could be so much worse! I hope your knife gets to you very soon, also!

I think I've got this worked out now.  In the pic are snapshots of the Yellowstone River, Devil's Tower, the sculpture Prometheus in downtown Casper and cows coming in for water on a friends ranch.  Also included are yucca seed pods and a piece of bone, probably antelope, picked up near town. And, since real horned toads are very hard to catch, a life-size brass one is used.  Last but not least is the postcard showing what license plates are available for a donation to the University of Wyoming.  There just isn't room for all the pics of my favorite places and things but this touches the high points.
