The NHRA Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green, Kentucky

I love Hot Rods maybe as much as I love knives.  And guns.  And motorcycles.....

Anyway each year on Father's Day is the big Hot Rod Reun ion in Bowling Green Kentucky.

There are a lot of Hot Rod Reunions, last year i went to the one down in Long Beach California.

I would love to go to this one, some nice cars for sure.  And since I could not go, then Byrd's photographsare almost as good!

Now THAT is a car Sue!  Love those 442s.

I had a 77 Olds Cutlass that I bought new and had the 403 put in it.

It was the last year of quality Oldsmobiles.  It's such a shame GM killed of that brand.  But it added a good dose of value to people that kept their rides.  I eventually sold mine when I had five cars and no place to put more than two.  I bought an Acura TL.  Sold the Olds and a Nissan 240Z.  The Acura was a nice car, but like I said I miss my Olds.  I had that car for 25 years.  That's longer than I had....

Oh, never mind that's another story.

Looks like fun, have never attended that one....I did attend the Oldsmobile Nationals a few years back in Bowling green, with my 69 Olds 442 as a member of the Oldsmobile Club of America....Great bunch of people in bowling green!!!!!!!!!!
