The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
I thought I would start a BLOG to let you all know about some of the Auctions that will be happening at the Blade Show. YOU NEED NOT BE PRESENT TO ENTER.
Each Item will tell you who to contact with your bid and information. These are not your everyday knives folks, take a look at the makers and who will be the recipient of the proceeds

The new management team at Queen Cutlery has come up with a unique way to introduce a new knifemaker/manufacturer collaboration—they are going auction the handmade prototype and donate the proceeds to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
The prototype is not a typical one-of-a-kind proto but instead a full blown Joe Kious handmade hunter.
The Kious stag handled hunter that is the basis for a forthcoming Queen production version will be auctioned to the highest bidder at the 2013 Blade Show in Atlanta, Georgia. The total proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
Kious has long been regarded as one of the top knifemakers in the world, whose work has been featured in numerous art knife books and knife periodicals. One of his knives is featured in a scene in the 1991 movie, “Exposure,” in which a knife seller displaying his selection of combat knives to the star of the film picks up a smart dagger and says, “Joe Kious, very expensive.”
The Kious knife will come in a presentation case from Gunboxesusa.com, a division of John P. Scott Woodworking, Inc. Scott produces the presentation boxes for the Medal of Honor winners.
This is a silent auction that will end at the blade show BUT you have the chance to enter at anytime prior to that by Contacting RYAN Daniels at rdaniels@queencutlery.com

Bose Ivory Opener... |
Tony Bose has produced a unique and beautifully
hand-crafted IVORY handled, ATS34, custom knife opener to be used exclusively as one of the NKCA's 2013 Fundraisers.
Bose' knife openers are extremely rare and very collectible! They can NOT be purchased, because Tony Bose only produces these for close family & friends; therefore we feel extremely privileged to have been given one of these very special knife openers by long-time NKCA Member, Tony Bose.
