Billy- you are right. IE9 is not compatible and NING is waiting on Microsoft to fix bugs before it will attend to those the browser is causing here. So, it's a wait and see. Sorry for the problem.

Billy you have a super nice gathering of blades!!  Your collection of Remington & Case knives are cool, and  you can really appreciate the Rough  Riders when you can examine them in pattern groups. Thanks for your comments regarding my collection.  For certain I believe we are both enjoying our hobby and we have both come a long way with our photo skills.  Best regards and I wish you all the best, Bill

I gladly to friend you & thanks for the comment on the knives I have posted. Yes, I have been collecting for some 25 plus years. I am not as agressive since retirement. Makes a difference when yor every Friday paydays end. Also much harder to find the old knives. They are scarcer and certainally more expensive. I look at all that are on eBay each morning. Flag a few, sometimes I may bid but most of the time I use it as a reference.

Billy, thanks for the comment on the skinner. The stag jigging and color combination of the bone makes it one of my favorites as well. I am going to do a couple more of thes, one will be in buffalo horn and if I can convince myself to make the investment, I think one in quality sanbar stag would look real well. I have taken the liberty to look at your pix and you have a beautiful diverse collection and I see your wife is involved as well. Thanks again....

Couldnt get rid any of mine either...

Any knife, that I've bought, was one that I liked.  (Cheap or expensive)

The story I recall mentioned an over-extension of resources. I'm happy with the knives produced under his control .. including the Case .. Queen .. 'n others from lesser known manuf of the time. It is my understanding that is how Bear MGC came into being .. producing damascus for Case .. when under Parker's cntrl.

James Parker was buying everything in sight there for a while. "n yes .. he was licensed the stamp "Marbles". I think he/CASE bought the Kinfolks & other CASE family names , he even owned CASE for a bit.

Tak Fakuta went on to do some good schtuff. I really like the units I had. ???? hard to give away .. not to me daughter !!!!

I've had a few knives made by Tak Fakuta .. all damascus .. really liked em all !!!

I'm using the past tense because I gave all 3 of them away .. one to a very close friend .. the other two to my daughter. That should provide an indication of what I thought of their quality !!!!

Billy, it sounds like your pop ups are blocked.  When you hit reply does it give you a thin banner at the top asking if you want to allow pop ups?
