Thanks for the comment Gary. Indeed, I do like the older production.
When I started doing this, there was no Ebay. Antique stores & yard sale's were it. OK, gun show's too. But, prices were higher @ the shows.
Been watching your slide show as I type this. You have a voluminous selection of Case. Looked like a bunch of Trappers. Saw a couple Hobo's too. Cool !!!
Hey Gary- you going to Wolverine Show next weekend? Mark Z talked me into in and then wouldn't let me ride with him...so I'm fly'n. Way too far to drive....like 11 hours. It'll be my first show there.
Probably going to Dalton in March if I can. Hope to see at one of them...
hey Gary thanks for your interest and question about my fillet knife on ebay. i do not have a sheath made for the knife, but since you are a iKC member, i could make you one for an additional fee. i have other knives available aswell.
Hey Gary all I do is keep buying knives LOL! Ilike your knives also I've been thinking about just to start getting one brand& pattern like you have ! and start a collection. Your Friend Doug!
Gary,
Thanks. I just put that date on the calendar..will try to make it. I got outbid on a nice vintage Case Saddlehorn tonight, so I'm still in the market for one.

Hi Gary,
Thanks for the welcome. I've bought a few Case knifes off eBay..just got a Sowbelly in the mail today. For over 40 years, one of my passions has been primitive antiques, so I'm drawn toward the vintage mint Case knives..can't afford the real high-dollars ones, but I'm beginning to sell off some of my other collections to fund this one.
I'll watch out for the gun shows so I can bring my grandson to them..any coming up soon in our area?
I'm always interested in advise from experienced collectors like you.
Regards,
Frank
Hey Gary
Really good to see you at Blade Show. I enjoyed talking.
I got lots of good vid footage and pictures from the show. I'll be working on this stuff over the next week. Thanks for all your support of iKC!
