Just couldn't pass it up.

Was out and about the other day and saw this and just couldn't pass it by.I haven't had a chance to take it out yet but picked up 150 rounds to run throughit when I bought it. I hope it shoots as good as all the magazines claim.I will try to remember to post and let you know.  If it is really good I may haveto look for the compact model.  Its a Taurus G3 in 9mm.See More

How did you hear about iKnifeCollector?
I just stumbled in one day
Do you currently subscribe to any knife publication (offline)
Yes
How long have you collected knives?
41 to 45 years
Favorite Kind of Knives
stockman preferably with stage grips. But I have been known to buy a trapper or a canoe or a congress or a barlow or a toothpick or a tactical or a lockback or... who's kidding they are all my favorites. I can always find something that I like about a knife.
About Me
65 year old retired IT Tech, though I was schooled as a Draftsman and worked for over half my career as one, living in central Ms on the Ms River.
Married to the same woman for 35 years with 2 grown boys.
Now a 65 year old retired former IT Tech still married to same woman but with 2 boys a daughter-in-law and 2 grand daughters.
I now spend my time as an Uber driver for the girls and a baby sitter when called on.
Interests
My collection is various in nature, when I see a knife that I like the looks of I usually buy it. Most of my purchases are production not custom.
Other Hobbies
It seems that I sometimes I just can't help myself and go and purchase a gun, usually a handgun, more than likely over .40 in caliber. The problem with collecting guns is they go up in price but my retirement check doesn't go up at the same pace. I also have a small collection of 1/18 scale diecast cars, mostly 60's and 70's muscle and somehow a M48 & M4 tank and a M3 Half-Track.

National Knife Day

I read somewhere that today was national knife day, so that's

my excuse.

I was given this one by my brother-in-law.  He said he just came by

it somewhere.

And the wife gave me this one.…

A little something my son gave me.

Went over to the eldest  for lunch and not only did he feed me

he gave me a little something.

A Bastion Braza EDC folder that he got from Battle Box.

D2 steel with stainless handles and ball bearings.

Weighs a ton but a really nice knife.…

I did it again.

The mail lady ran today and left a little package.

I think I may have to seek help.

First is a new Kershaw I thought was mighty good looking.

Then I picked up a Rough Rider because it had my initials on it.…

I just got the mail and lo and behold I have prizes in the mail.

Ok not prizes because I bought them but something new in

the mail.

First is a Winchester Sunfish with the buffalo shield. Why did I order it?

I didn't have one. Here is its picture.…

Rome,

I've tried to PM you twice now through iKC. Perhaps, the attached link presented an issue.

.

I'd preferred to send this via a PM out of courtesy to Jan ..because.. it involves a different knife form. Anyway .. I'll send it this way.

.

I am a member of another forum that specializes in Queen City, Schatt & Morgan, & Queen in general. It is the site from which I gleaned the scissors & clippers.

.

It is unfortunate, the forum is Fb based. None the less .. I will include the "LINK". The name of the group is "Queen City & Schatt & Morgan knives". It's a "closed forum" ..but.. you'd be readily accepted.

.

When I mistakenly attempted to contact you through Fb .. I took a guess & contacted "Rome Patrick Rushing" who also hails from Vicksburg, MS. Obviously .. my bad !

.

Enjoy,

D ale
