Steve, I think it is very possible that it was re-handled. It has been about two months now and I've seen other "Hazardous Swirls" show up at SMKW but the Marlin Spike has not yet made it. If it was re-handled, the guy who did it did a really great job with the fit but a not so good job matching the sides.
