Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

This year iKnifeCollector is able to offer you a J.Mutz Custom.

Thanks to everyone that helped this decision happen.

Confirmed price is $112.00 plus shipping.

Payment is due no later than August 1, 2013

The body and bolsters are milled 416 the blade is 154CPM, with a 1/2 stop.  It is 3 5/8 closed and it is a Stag Cut Red Bone. Because this would be custom we could not order any more than 50 knives and his commitment is that he could deliver in September (maybe sooner but that a lot to get made in a short time).  There will be an iKC certificate with each knife signed by me.

45 of the 50 have been committed so there are only a few available.  Right now we will offer one per member.  For those of you wishing a second I have you on the list if there are still some available

I just had to share with you the warranty info on Jeff's page

It has a complete lifetime warranty on materials and craftsmanship. Any malfunction due to materials or craftsmanship under normal using conditions will be repaired for free. You can ship your product to the address found on this website but please contact us first so we know to watch for your returned item.

The "Catch" - Yes, sorry folks but we have a loophole to our warranty. The "lifetime" in "lifetime warranty" means Jeff's lifetime. Sorry but unfortunately when Jeff takes up residence at Boot Hill there will be no one to repair your product for free. Jeff's son Dylon is going to college and has no interest in continuing Jeff's business. But Jeff hopes to be able to warranty your products for many years to come!

My change jar only had enough for one this year.  Its destined to the shelf with ones from the past years.

well I say we will have 2 but there is one set of every knife done by iKC that the proto will go into.  That set is destined to be the first internet community to have a display at the museum

mine will have a spot on the shelf too.

is a LUCA needed or wanted??..i know NOT OFFICAL IKC but lots call it the IKC LUCA E-TOE?

Da Luca knife!

What about the Capt. knife

Bob, the example I have given for issues that we maybe wouldn’t agree on was sort of a joke, but not very well chosen – or “agree” is not the right verb here: it’s not an intellectual or moral matter, but rather the fact of things in the life that we can’t share emotionally. I perfectly understand the importance of hunting and trapping in your universe, and I really respect and like how you speak of it.

I would not hesitate to shoot a boar, it has also its necessity: in France, as we do not have enough hunters, we have too many boars. Without predators, they proliferate even more; they are ravaging crops up near the houses. But some animals are a form of life so beautiful, or are so intelligent, and make me feel such a respect and such sympathy that I could not kill them unless my life was at stake right. But am I wrong in thinking that a hunter like you shall also feel admiration, a sense of closeness and a sort of affection for wild animals?

But here I am far from the subject of this discussion...

Thanks Jean, I respect your opinion. I can see you speak from the heart as well as mind. That is why I am glad to call you my IKC friend. We are a world apart, with different ways of life, yet we can still be friends. We both seem to have drifted off the subject, of this years knife. I hope it all works out, because to own one might be a rare thing. A small knife with a big story. I plan on adding it to the other IKC club knives in my collection. My first club knife was delivered to my cousins porch by UPS and his dog chewed on the box for 3 days. Lucky the knife was unharmed. I was extra, excited about it because it was my first club knife, ever.

Well, I won't know if I learned my lesson from last year's knife until I get this one in my hands. Chances are good, that it will see some medium to light duty...depends on how old I am when it gets here. zing!

Brad,

My hair is already half grey, I hope it still has some color when I get this one LOL.  But I like how Robert put it, a little knife with a big story

Max,

I continue to look for the Indiana residents knife.  I need one!!!

Was that the first club knife? They all look great.
