Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Just a quick inquiry. If I were to post some pics of some of the slabs of stone I have, is there any kind of market here for that sort of thing? I have LOTS of obsidian that can be cut to any thickness, and rocks of just about any color one can think of.

Well personally I think you might have a market ...here or somewhere if you go to shows. Here is why I say that and why I asked for pictures of stonework. Look at this members pics: http://www.iknifecollector.com/profile/DavidPBaker?xg_source=profil...

I don't think David is around anymore or if he is, he may be very sick. His website is no longer active, but his pictures exist here.  In a short amount of time he was able to build a following for stone handled knives. The pictures are nothing short of phenomenal. Now it was a different time, different economics, and I am not suggesting you could duplicate his success but you have to think if there was once interest.....

In any event I will let other members talk about their experience and knowledge.
