Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

A long time friend of mine whom I use to spend quite a bit of time with as a kid just gave me a pocket knife that his recently deceased father used to carry in his pocket. It is a Robeson sure edge. I will post a picture of it and also include the number stamped on the second tang. I am just curious about the who's, what's and when's as I had never heard of this manufacturer till now.

Robesons are great knives - most made in Perry, NY - I look forward to the picture.

The new Robesons  are made by Queen Cutlery, they are very well made and few and far between.

They are good knives and collectable!

Robeson's sure edge is an older & well respected knife line. Good steel .. good quality. Quite collectible.

Shawn,

Let us see it?

Robeson is indeed a name that was owned by servotronics, which sold many of it's knife related holding to Ken Daniels when he purchased Queen Cutlery.  Robeson is NOT one of the tang stamps he acquired.  The Shuredge stamp was used a number of times

Old Robeson have a name for a high quality and kinda sorta rarer knives to find compared to camillus and such at least. I've got two and always look out for them when I'm looking through older knives.

Check out the Blog on Robeson and also the discussion in Box Full of Knives group.
