Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Our 12 Days Of Christmas contest has been generously sponsored by TSA Knives.

There will be 2 ways to enter.

1) Post to the discussion for each of the 12 days

2) show us how iKC is celebrating the season in your home or work environment (creative use of hat pins maybe?)

I will open this contest discussion on December 13 and the winners name will be drawn on

December 25th!

Christmas legs!!!

Glad you all had fun with the crossword puzzle.

**DAY 10**

The first artificial Christmas tree was made in Germany towards the end of the 19th century.  What was this tree made of?

I heard this on a Christmas movie, the other night...dyed goose feathers.

The first artificial Christmas trees were developed in Germany during the 19th century,[1][2] though earlier examples exist.[3] These "trees" were made using goose feathers that were dyed green

I just got home from work and completed the day 9 crossword puzzle.

Day 10 answer is bird feathers dyed green. They were made to help combat

deforestation due to the popularity of real Christmas trees.

Well late again but goose feathers dyed green

Goose FeathersDyed Green, Randall told me ...LOL
