Hey Guys !

I recently purchased this knife along with 39 other real nice 70s case knives I was hoping that someone could tell me if this is what I think it is and that being a 10 dot second cut bone trapper

I would appreciate any further info on this knife and thanks in advanced

I wish I could help.  That is one heck of a nice trapper.  It is SWEET.

Thanks Stanley it was tucked in with a roll of 40 nice cases I bought

I think Max McGruder could help on this one

very very nice bone and looks to be very clean knife too...

that era knife they did make it in Stag,Yellow,& Bone...

can you count all 10 dots on the knife

Thanks Sue !  You can count all ten dots with no problem

here are some pics of the dots

I'm sorry I can't say wether it's second cut bone or not.  It surely is a most stunning knife! If you ever decide to trade for say a cats eye marble I might be interested if ya twist my arm! LOL If you ever do find out please let me know if it is second cut. I would say it's just jigged bone and very nice jigged bone!

I've only heard of second cut stag but never bone.

You would want to talk to Katie Shonts or Steve Pfeiffer, Steve is on this site as is Katie, Katie is the Case Historion for W.R.Case and Steve Pfeiffer wrote a fantastic book called, Collecting Case Knives, Identification and price guide.

On page 195 in Steve's Book--Collecting Case Knives-- there is a picture of the the 1970 Red bone Knife you have Carl

price for it in mint condition $225---beautiful knife you have--- congrats
