Let’s have some fun and give away a knife!
This month is a secret word contest. Every day between today and Feb 20, 2014 I will place a secret word in the right hand column of iKC. Bring that word back to this page and use it in a sentence.
That’s it you are entered.
Each entry will receive a ticket and a name will be drawn on Feb 21rst to win. Only one ticket per person per day. No fair copying anyone else’s sentences LOL

That danged anvil fell off my work bench and busted my toe.
Yesterday, I used anvil in my sentence already so I don't need to use anvil today, or do i?
@Alecs,
The way I understand it; if you used anvil in a sentence yesterday you don't need to use anvil in a sentence today. But, then again, I could be completely wrong about the use of the word anvil? You might want to use anvil in a sentence again just to be on the safe side?
@Data,
Whoa! Dropping an anvil on your toe could be a rather painful proposition! I hope you got that anvil back up on the workbench where an anvil belongs? And I hope your toe is feeling better by the time you read this, too!

I own only a small anvil.
A slice of apple pie would taste mighty good right now!
Don't slice your finger my mom used to always say, when she saw my knife in hand!!
The slice so nice he made it twice!
In order to slice bread correctly, you need a bread knife.
I find it near impossible to eat a hamburger without a big slice of onion on it.
