Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

It can be by pattern, style or maker; fixed or folder. What ever makes them a collection. You may post more than one collection but just 3 to 6 knives in each.

This is not a contest, just a way to show us your knives, for all to enjoy. Lets have some fun.

Real nice Brad.

All three knives are made out of different kinds of Ebony. The medium sized knife has what's called Mun Ebony. The small knife is the more common Ebony and the large one, I am not sure of it's type, only that it is Ebony. The large knife is a fighting knife and I hope to never ever have to use it.

Here is three that get some use sometimes.

My Myerchins (well most of them)  Myerchin is a company out of California that makes knives for nautical use. Other folks have also found them handy, especially back packers, rock/mountian climbers, and anyone who works around ropes.  They have contracts with both the U. S, Nave and Coast Guard.  They knives are also popular with merchant marines and offshore oil rig workers.

Top: Second Generation  W100 Off Shore System (W100 rope knife, A008 marlinspike, leather sheath)

Bottom left:  L300P Navigator Light Knife

Bottom right: P300 Sailor's Tool

Top 2 knives are made in Seki, Japan... Bottom knife is made in China

Second Generation W100 (the fixed blade)  uses a German Pro-Marine steel said to be equivalent to 440C but with better corrosion resistance.  the other two knives use 440C stainless.

I threatened to show it ages ago but I never did get a decent picture of them.

My A.G. Russell Texas Ranger collection (so far).

Bottom to top with the one on the right last (bottom picture)

2008 Gunstock

2009 Large Hunter

2010 Sunfish lockback

2011 Toothpick Subhilt Barong

2012 Texas Hunter

2013 "The Beast"
