The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
The time has come to start the discussion on the 2014 iKC knife.
I would again like to shoot for August/Sept delivery date. Something to remember while we talk about this is that a short run of only 50 or so knives means we need to tie in with a maker that is already running a knife and tweak that one to make it our own. The reason for this is most SFO's require a minimum order of 250 or more. Also I would like to keep it less than $125.00 delivered to you. I have some eyes checking out whats available at a factory or two but always love to hear your ideas. Remember, this is YOUR knife
Here is a pic of the official annual knives we have done so far
I understand guys, let's move forward
Alexander,
I have indeed spoken with AG about what knives they will customize. he sent me a link to them last year but that does not appear to be active any longer
That is too bad I do like his knives and he seems despite age to be very active or maybe Goldie is as I get emails all the time and they do keep their web site up.
I have faith in many production knife companies. I try to support as many as I can. I think whatever is the best quality at the best price for our members is a win win for everyone.
the thing with ag is that the parts are made out of the usa and put togeather here I for one would like to have it made here and put togeather here.love made in the U.S.A
I like the Scout patern for this year. Multi blade seems to be a common thread and the Daniels Family seems a solid bet.
No chance of Mastodon bark I guess?
BTW a bottle opener would be so memorable on a club knife!
Jan, I really like that Ruple Trapper that was posted in Queen Cutlery and Friends. Beautiful knife...great style.
John I like how you think!
This is incorrect. Some of A.G.'s knives are indeed made in China. If they re they will say so on the knife. If A.G. says something is made in the US then it's made in the US. He never decieves anyone about that.

AG is very descriptive and open on his offerings. Click on any knife and he will tell you where it is made. I can also tell you any knife made in China is inspected before it goes out to the public. Not a spot inspection, every knife. I have great respect for how AG handled the move of some of his product offshore.
With all that being said I dont think Elbin was saying anything against AG or his product, I think he was simply stating he would prefer US made and that is where our cost factor/low run comes into play
