Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Since I became host of the Arsenal Group, we have gone from 38 to 91 members.  But I want to see 100 members in the group and to see them post.  So I have decided to run a contest to give away a knife.  The knife is a Smith & Wesson SWLFS "24-7".

When the 100th member joins the group, I will put every member's name that has posted to the group in the previous year (excluding mine of course) in a hat and have someone else draw out the winner's name.  So be sure you have posted to the group in the last year and urge anyone you know who isn't in the group to join and post.

Here are a couple of pictures of the knife.  It is a liner lock with double thumb studs and pocket clip and has never been carried, sharpened, or used.

Great little folder. A good way to draw members to the group, very innovative. Hope you get the 100.!!!

Very nice deal!!!

Membership drive is going slow. It's the same way over in the Outdoor Group.

You are right Robert.  It went from 91 to 95 fairly quickly but has stalled there.  I was hoping it wouldn't take too long to get to 100.  I need to figure out some way to get 5 more to join the group.

The Outdoor Group has done the same thing. We are both stuck on 95 members. We had a contest and only picked up one member. Go figure. Oh well, you have done a great job here with this Group, so don't despair. You have a great and active Group, with almost 100 members and that's a good thing. To have one of the best Groups here on IKC is reward enough. Keep up the great work.

I'm with Robert.  It is tough to pick up new members and that 100 member ark is really hard to hit.  Just keep the group active.  If you can get a core of people who will post then you will slowly pick up new members.  The key is to keep the group active and don't despair.  It took me a long time to break 100.   The biggest problem these days is trying to make sure I stay in active in other groups I belong to.   Hang in there and don't despair Charles.  You have a fine group!

You all have fine Groups!  It is summer and notoriously slower.  Folks are out doing things with families and knives.  It will happen soon I predict :)

You are right guys (and gal).  I am happy with the way the group has grown.  When I became host, there were 38 members and now it has grown to 95.  To rewrite an old cliche, I look at the glass as 95% full.  But I would still like to see that 100th member sign up and will keep working at it.  I would like to give that knife to somebody!

YAY  Got another member!  Now up to 96.  Just need four more and somebody gets a knife.

Just learned of IKC and the Arsenal group, GREAT Site and a GREAT  group of people. Thanks for all the help and for a awesome contest

Thanks for joining the group Paul.  You are the 97th member.  Just three more and I will give somebody the knife!

Welcome Paul.
