Thanks everyone for the prayers and kind words. The surgery went well but all of them are tough when you start having a little age on you. This was my 20th surgery that I have had in my life time and the Lord has pulled me through all of them. Thanks to him.

My prayers go to Ben Rupe, may he have some relief from his health problems.

IKC friends- I'm asking for some prayers for my GF Beverly - Went to the doctor yesterday suspecting cancer and we are still awaiting results- Prayers will be most appreciated ~~~

Our friend Marc Lacrimosa has said on FB he is in the final stages of losing a beloved family member. The family has gathered to help through these last few days and do the things for him, he once did for his children. The circle of life brings us to to this stage at one point or another but as Marc says "Its sad watching a man slowly go away".

Father, we ask that you bring peace to this family as they prepare to return a loved one to you. Grant them the ability to continue to remember all the good times shared and the lessons learned from a loved family man. Hold the family in your loving arms Lord and comfort them.
