Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

In reply to Steve Hanner's question: I simply have gotten to many knives, and have stopped buying for awhile (notice I say for awhile) and my interest at present is being divided with other interests. I will be back to posting more but when the time is right. I still have a deep respect and love for IKC.

Thanks Ken.  I call that Life gets in the way sometimes LOL and I know that it does.  I appreciate the post and the answer!

Looking forward to when you do come back Ken.

All this time I thought we was growing.....out the seams....the groups had to be put in A-Z for quick reference.....

Members....post your thoughts under those pictures.....add your comments to the blogs and Join in chat....The IKC

is for the members......We have lots of fun here along with much needed INPUT on Knifing details and expertise always

handed out and presented in a friendly manner...

I haven't post knife pic's for awhile .....but I do enjoy everyone elses.....When you see them Pic's ....click that like button

too if you dont want to leave a comment......

OK....steps off the soap box.......NEXT?

My question is not aimed at the people that post fairly often, including you Ken. Although you may post less you are still a top member. My question is aimed at the over 2000 members who are here and inactive. Not sure why? I mean liking a picture or posting in a Group takes 2 seconds.

If folks don't want to be here any longer then send me an email and I can give clear instruction on how to leave. My job here is to ensure people and folks are posting, if they no longer want to do that and instead prefer Facebook thats fine. Send me an email and you can post on Facebook or an alternative Forum all day and night long. The easiest way to see iKC end is simply stop posting,

Getting on and writing stuff is a minor hassle.

I can't always post, but when i do, i want it easy and simple. eg. internet, e-mail. I have to log on, find a place to comment and then do it. please. let me get on and start writing.

And what is that tinker bell sound that comes on when i am on this site? very annoying.

I have been invited to several events that i would like to attend, but right now, i am coaching soccer and I have my full time teaching job. just lounging around typing is not in the cards right now. Thanks, Jack

That tinking sound you hear is Chat.... Jack. We have a component of iKC called Chat and people can chat live. I can appreciate if you are busy right now with soccer but if it is such a bother to post or find a picture to like or to leave a comment on an blog then how about if I explain how to leave and you don't have to worry about posting at all.

Jack you can also turn the chat off if the sound is annoying.  The chat button is at the top of the page open it up and just disconnect yourself.  Although we would like for you to join in sometime if you like.  If you have missed any of the event, they are posted http://www.iknifecollector.com/page/page/listForContributor?user=3e...

iKC is about the members.  We try to foster an environment that is fun and constructive but to do so we need the membership to participate.  Think what would happen if each member would post one thing, once a week

I'm just really busy, but enjoy it when I have time for iKC.

My question was not directed at you Billy and I know you do everything you can and I thank any of the members who have stuck with us and post, even if its to welcome a new member or wish a member a happy birthday. Its the little things that matter, like congratulating a member on a new knife. Thanks for all you do, in spite of how busy you are.

Charles, I have never left. I am on here every day and liking many pics and other posts. I just haven't been real active in responses and discussions. Thanks for your concern. I get better soon. I am looking forward to the Knife show in Wilmington, OH.

This is the note I am sending to every single one of my friends individually:

"My friend I no longer see your name in any group or a post anywhere. Have you left me? Steve iKnife Collector Manager"

This may take a few days or a week but I will feel better when I am done. At least I was polite enough to ask them. The only ones excluded are the ones I see fairly often.

I do get most of my group posts in email, so I do keep up,    sometimes I barely have enough time to look at emails. It has probably been a month since I have looked at FB.Steve, I never thought your comment was directed at me. I was just stating why I am not on like I used to be. This site is knife home to me, with really great people.
