What can you tell me about this one? The blade is unmarked, may have worn off with the repeated sharpenings it's had. I'm guessing mid to late 1800s. Thanks. Michael

Is it just me or are my pictures not showing up here? I'm new and this is my first post with pictures.

Here ya go Michael.  Unfortunately, I do not have any information about your knife, other than it is really cool.

They're there as attachments, Michael.

One of our members recently did a detailed tutorial on how to post photos, here, http://iknifecollector.com/forum/topics/december-2014-contesy-win-a...

Thanks for the assist, Brad.

I just read it and for some reason all I get is an option to add attachments but not pictures. I'll have to keep working on this because I'd like to share pictures, what fun is it without pictures.

trying a different browser. back to the knife. i found a very simular knife on ebay a while back, blade had more edge left, less sharpening, and a simpler hilt area. but his had a maker on it. name: E.E.Wood Cutlery Co.  Northampton, Mass.  the sheath was also identicle. has anyone heard of this company? another pic in the sheath.

Michael--E.E. Wood Cutlery Co. was in business circa 1889-1901. They were sold in 1901 to Wm. A. Rogers LTD.- E.E. Wood's chief products were kitchen and carving knives. As you already stated, they were located in Northampton, Massachusetts.
