i have a nice Victorinox knife that my uncle gave me, it has great sentimental value he used it all over europe in the 70's. i broke the spring on the small blade and cork screw. its a antler scaled camping type knofe, not a SAK. how hard or expensive would it be to have the spring replaced? thanks

here is a picture of the knife, you can see the broken spring sticking out. It broke by the center pin. sorry about the bad lighting. 

what a shame!  It might cost a bit to get it fixed.  I know Muskrat man still does repairs, anyone else have an idea?  If it were me I would probably fix it because of the sentimental value alone

Call Victorinox, i didnt think pf that. just figured they are a big company not interested in repairs. I think Ill give that a try. thanks for the advise. 

I just sent an email to Muskratman also. Now lets see who can or wants to fix my old knife. 

i contacted Muskratman and he will be able to repair my uncles knife for me. thanks for the help guys. 

That is fantastic news!  Would love to see to see it again when it comes home!

Ill be glad to post pics, but you'll have to wait about 4 months, apparently hes a busy knifemaker.
