The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
So here we are 2015 and we need a knife!!!! Again, I don't like to just choose one and say this is it. This is OUR community knife not my personal knife.
As with last year I want 125.00 or below in your hand. We only run 50 so they need to be in a knife companies production line up we can tie into and make the knife our own. Not all companies will do this, but most of them will work with us.
There have been a lot of questions about doing a Fixed Blade this year, I am all for it but we need 50 commitments. So lets talk it through, what do you think?????

I would really like to see something with D2 steel and ebony wood handles. I like a long pull spear or sheepfoot/wharncliffe blade.
A Barlow in that would be cool.
Barlows are nice - I like one with as stamp on the bolster.

Any chance of a fish knife?
Unlike a lot of you, I am not a big Barlow fan. I do like the sounds of a fixed blade (something different). That being said, if I am able to, I will get whatever is chosen. I am anxious to see what we end up with.
Please watch this video. They will do a production run of 50 knives with out iKC logo laser engraved. They make great fixed blade AND folders too.
i'm voting elephant toe....but price wise that may not happen for the price point....so 2nd choice....barlow
A nice bone handled Sheep Foot Cotton Sampler would be way cool :-) However, I also appreciate a fine Barlow.
I started collecting knives with Bowies but I don't have that many Barlows. I like the looks of the one you suggested. I also like Abalone handles. Terry Colter
On the fixed blades I like the silver stag, Bark River would work with us and I think we could get Ontario to work with us on a fixed or even a more modern blade
Barlow with IKC stampedon bolster-I didn't like the printing on the handle on last year's.
I'd go for Bark River too.Anything traditional would be fine.
