Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I love to see very nice photos of knives.  I thought this would be an interesting thread, to have everyone post their favorite pictures of knives.  Either your own, or ones you can share with permission from the owner.

Here are a couple I've taken.

2012 Schatt & Morgan, Sowbelly pattern, stag handles.

2014 Tuna Valley, Scout pattern, burnt stag handles.

Some lovely Blades Roger & when bone gets that 'aged smoothness' about it, there is no other knife cover material that can hold a candle to it (IMHO)

Thanks Derek!

That is very nice Sue. I am not overly familiar with Case knives (I have a few but not investigated them in any detail)

Is the engraving on the bolsters factory - or after market?

Here's a few more that I like. All are H. Boker's.

Wow, that is quite a display!

I've never seen a knife like that MOP dog. Any idea how old it is?

Thanks Carl.

Doug: This knife is tang stamped H. Boker & Co's Cutlery Germany. The fact that it has Germany on its tang makes it post 1891 (steel tariff). My best guess is late 1800's - early 1900's. Here's some better pictures of it.

Roger,

Thanks for the details on the dog, it is not a knife that I have encountered before either!

Well I have to define that statement.  I have encountered it, in the 2009 Boker article from Knife World but the black and white pic did it no justice!
