The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
On a recent trip to New Zealand I trawled the Thrift & Op shops for sharp things but not a lot on offer.
Pic shows my modest haul A Richards Sheffield cheapie which will get a make over, A Klien Tools NY Electrician's Knife - plastic covers (the reverse of the tang is stamped "Japan" which I found a little strange but maybe its common can anyone throw some light on this???)
A badly knocked around IXL Barlow also in my 'make-over' pile. A nice old German Pin Vices and an interesting Leather Groover with a depth adjustment.

Oh and I forgot to add a nice piece of New Zealand Kauri wood from my late Dad's timber stash which is ear-marked for some future knife make-over projects.
