Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Now this is going to surprise many of you, or not as it did not seem to surprise Donnie.

Blade show is the one place that annually I have to explain what my and iKC's roles are in the knife world.  I watch people introducing me struggle with how to put it and if you read my recent posting you know I kind of struggle with it also.

Are we a blog, a forum or what and what is my role?  Am I just the owner or as I put it just the person the owns the bus I am lucky enough to have collectors drive?  Am I a wannabe journalist?  Well, for the first time since I stated this adventure it has dawned on me exactly what I am.  I am a knife collector that happens to enjoy talking with other knife collectors, it is that simple.

As I wrote up what happened at Blade in my one day journey this year, I realized I am not writing it as a critique or as a review.  I tend to write much more along the lines of someone trying to share the experience with other knife collectors that did not get to go.  With just a short visit this year it was apparent to me that I need not try to cover every knife, I can name 4 forums and numerous pages on FB that will have all that covered for you.

So...a Thank You to all of you for being here and giving me my collectors fix daily!
