I do check eBay from time to time just to see what is out there.  I have learned some information from looking there.

eBay is still open.  Check the pictures and ask questions.  Read the sellers reviews.  If you have  a  question such as was the knife made in Germany but the seller had posted it as a German knife ask "was the knife made in Germany? I have had good luck with mint unused knives.  There are some nice pearl knives under $250 even under $200.
