Thanks for the welcome sir. Man it sure is hard to buy GEC knives. Been collecting Case for about 40 years, just getting into GEC. Looking to learn from folks.
Lars, Siema! Dziekuje! (That's the limit of my Polish -- despite having a serious girlfriend about 20+ years ago who emigrated from Warsaw.) I hope you're doing well also, and have to say I'm really glad you're here -- you've got great taste in blades!
Thanks for the warm welcome, I do the blade restoration mainly due my interest in the individual history of the piece and to preserve its relevance to the previous and current owners. It also is great therapy for my ptsd .
I have a Facebook page called Craig’s Knife Life if you are on that platform. I have a lot of before and after pictures. To me no knife is to far gone, they all have some value to someone.
Hey Lars, sure do know what a 110 looks like. Lost one and the other disappeared. Have a 112, Buck vantage is my go to EDC have two. One 420hc other s30v, like both. When wife wants me to look decent carry Kershaw leek.
Hey Lars thanks for your comments. From your page it seems I could learn a lot from you. Just curious what is your edc ? Right now I’m in North Carolina, noticed several guys carry fixed blade knives. What’s your views . Thanks
Ha ha, I rhought I already had. Checked out your etsy shop, very nice stuff. My wife runs our shop and once in a while talks me into creating wood products.
Thanks for the story Lars. I'm glad we've made contact and you found the info useful. I need to do some updating on all my pages, especially the Sailing Knives and my Rough Rider Reviews. I'v ealso wrote an extensive amount of info on the Camp/Utility pattern knives that i need to get up but I've just not had the time!
just to keep Poles busy guessing all the time? :-)
YES!!! That is the reason, either that or to frustrate and old southern gal LOL. Everything on the site is set to newest first. I cannot explain it, I cant seem to fix it and our provider says "but your set to newest first ". Yep, they are very helpful

Hi and thank you!
Don't know what happened to your post on my covid bead pic. I was adding another comment and they both disappeared.
But I went through a bunch of crap, and I'm not sure I wanted to go shopping for a crap knife. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks, getting a little older and want to focus most of my energy on pocketknives which have always been a fascination.

Hi Lars:
Thanks for your note. Not my Pierce-Arrow, but I am a sucker for just about anything with wheels and an engine.
Thanks for the welcome Lars, being as we are both in Texas, it may as well be half way around the world! :D
Enjoyed your etsy shop Lars. Great pieces!
Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to check them out when I get on the desk top again.
