I AM IN!,

I had pretty much stopped collecting until Knives Live aired, My grandson asked when I first started watching the show If I had any knives, So I showed him some I had collected back in the 80's and 90's, and alot of them came from Smoky Mountain Knife Works through catalog, and watching the show and having new knives coming to my door again fascinated my grandson, and collecting myself, and it created a got to get a more awesome knife every week to keep him interested in knife collecting, Now today with over 4000 knives he will inherit a very nice collection when the time comes, I gave him his first knife when he was 12, and he is collecting on his own plus the knives I give him on birthdays, and Christmas, Made collectors of both of us, Knives Live re-sparked my interest and created a new collector in my grandson, I miss the show, but still get the catalogs and order online,

I don't usually enter contests due to a lack of winning ability. However, when the prize is my favorite brand and pattern knife, how can I resist? Regrettably, I missed the KnivesLive days, but have been accumulating for many years from other venues, and have caused my granddaughter to be afflicted with the same malady.... Very glad it is not a terminal disease, just a desire. Anyway, I will try to add my entry at the appropriate time and hope for the best.

A belated Merry Christmas to all and wishes for a Happy New Year.

Many thanks to you Jan for the fun of watching other folks discuss knives, etc who are much more knowledgeable. I always learn something new.
