Great to have you here, Jeremy!  I've had mixed experiences with other forums, but I've lurked on one of Spyderco's forums & that one was pretty good, the people there were knowledgeable & respectful.  Which is what you're going to find here.  And a lot of appreciation for knives, of course, both old & new (I'm more of a contemporary knife guy myself, but I like to cross genres -- it's all about liking what we like, right?).  Welcome!
