Thanks Kevin. I tried multiple spelling also. No luck. I thought maybe Slater also but no such luck. It is a nicely made knife   Oh well

I have never seen that maker's mark, but I thought it was 'Slater'.   

I cannot seem to find it anywhere.  I tried a number of spelling variances.

Does anyone know the maker of this knife? The name one the knife looks like Slqter? It was a gift looks well made
