I was wondering if someone could tell me about Rolf W Buchel pocket knives. I've never heard of them. Are they supposed to be good quality? I welcome any information.

Short and sweet, and not very well written.

From what I have seen, his company is not very well known.  It was started in the mid 1940s I think and was still going around 2000.   Solingen Germany.  Decent quality but nothing exceptional.  I think the 'W' was for Walter.

They started out making folders, but have also made some straight razors.  The only makers mark I have seen is a small group of 3 sheep surrounded by an oval.  This mark was on the blades, and also on the handle of the razor.  On the folders, I have only seen bone scales.
