Dude - so sorry to hear about this, but very happy you din't loose a hand. I am assuming all fingers are still with you as well. Yep - two kinds of shop workers - those that have and those that will. 

Once the inital shock of your injusry wears off, milk for all it's worth! Walk with a limp, look pittiful for a awhile, tell the waitress "boy, that slice of pie sure would help me heal....". 

I hope you are on the fast track for healing....wishing you well.

It should heal OK, Jan.  Noyhing broken.  Just a heck of a laceration with lots of blood to clean up.  I am fortunate in being married to a woman who doesn"t panic when I do something dumb like this

George I am so sorry to hear about this! Is it going to heal with full use? Always scares me when Donnie is on the grinder so I dont go down and watch that part
