Thought it would be fun to have a place to show off your new knife purchase or trade. Feel free to post a picture and/or comment about your newest knife. This will surely make everyone jealous of your new toy... but thats what we are going for, right?!
Well, he made me aware of it, and then I realized it was ten bucks, so I tossed it in the order as a "why the hell not". Lol. It's a cool looking knife but a major bitch to open out of the box. Pivot screw is WAY to tight. If I'd stop being lazy and take the pocket clip off so I can get to the pivot screw on the other side though I'm sure it would be a simple case of just loosening it some. The lock is also really tight and hard to disengage.
These just came in last week. (Sorry about the blurry pic.)
Left to right: BK&T Necker, SOG Aegis (digi camo), KaBar foding Dozier (OR), Cold Steel Counter TAC II, CRKT Sting, Cold Steel K4 kitchen knife
Bottom: Ontario RTAK-II
All but the Becker Necker, the CS TAC II, and the CRKT Sting came razor sharp. I'm positive I can remedy the Becker Necker but I'm afraid my lackluster sharpening skills are going to force me to send the other two to get professionally reprofiled and sharpened. Oh well...such is life.
Just ordered a Bradley Kimura about an hour ago. I'm really excited to try out flipping, and just add a cool knife to my collection. Finally, a bali that isn't el cheapo, and isn't 200 bucks like the BM 42. Woot! Lol.
Runs about 85 bucks, 93 after shipping from new graham.
So, upon attempting to loosen it, I started to actually strip the heads of the pivots screw, and it barely moved. Though now I can flick it open, but it's still much harder then any of my other knives. There's probably some loctite in there, that or KA-BAR's china factory got overzealous with the electric screwdriver. Lol.

Don't think that this one would make anyone jealous...
I was excited about this one, until it finally arrived, Saturday, from KnifeSupply.com.
The handles are misaligned a bit and the secondary pen blade is less than half the thickness of the coping blade. Not what I had expected from a "German Handmade". The best thing about it was the color...
