George .. nice pics .. Thanks !!!!

@ George .. I had my two out for a jaunt in the woods yesterday .. Briar kicked up a rabbit out of some gnd cvr .. & promptly lost it.

Poor little guy has no nose .. certainly has the drive .. but no nose :(

I grew up in a rural farming community & we had a great working pair of hunting dogs .. a walker coon hound and a rat terrier. The walker had the nose, drive, & intelligence. The terrier was FEARLESS. 'n the dog's loved one another .. 'n wked as a team. The little terrier would dart in & grab the coon from behind .. 'n the walker would finish it. That little terrier would climb a tree if there was so much as a 15* incline .. 'n she would go INSIDE a hollow tree after a coon .. FREAKING FEARLESS !!!!!!!

I miss that beagle's first yelp when they kick up the rabbit .. you can tell how close the rabbit & how hot the track just by the tone of that first  yelp !!!!!!

They are wonderful George.  Thanks for sharing, now you have to keep us updated on their progress PLEASE.  Beagles get in your heart once you have owned one!
