Good advised Stephen, thanks for sharing ideas to keep our site more attractive to our newest members

Stephen,

It's fairly easy to do, just start here. If you wish to add header of border pics to personalize your "My Page", click "Appearance" here. Then click on "All Options" . Then you select & upload an edited pic from your computer

One needs to do a bit of planning ahead of time and trim the desired pics to size. The dimensions that pics should be trimmed to are :

L & R Columns   ~   158 pixels wide  and then tile the result. The 7th horizontally tiled pic will form the R column.

-----------------------------------------------------

Header ~ 955 pixels wide * 129 pixels tall. The anchor point (0,0) is the upper left corner. If the pic you load is oversize, the right side will be trimmed and the btm edge will be trimmed.

 .

I hope this helps.

Cutlery Stamp

Stephen .. Cutlery Stamps links are working for me .. which pics are not working for you ????

Great idea Stephen, our page is just that our page. We have the ability to make it truly be a reflection of our interests. How good is that! Plus its a way for us to connect with other members who may share our interests, also a good thing.

Stephen,

Some of those example pics were dated. I grabbed some new ones.  Try these !!!

..... begin by clicking on "CUSTOMIZE"

............ then ............

and then load the "trimmed"  pics I mentioned earlier

159 pixels wide for the L & R border columns

955 pixels * 129 pixels for the header

Hope the updated screen capture pics help clarify !!!

Thanks for the tips it worked for me

I guess it's okay to admit here: when I'm not doing farm chores, messing around with knives, boats or rope, I dabble in "design" -- I know, whOOO hOOO!   LahDeDAH!

Well anyway, I've just been fooling around in PhotoShop and using the results on my iKC "My Page". My biggest worry is that I may have reduced "overall readability" too much. I'm hoping a few of you could visit the page and report back your impressions. Be truthful, I'm OLD and don't have time to mess around.
