Adam, you might have already seen this one on eBay but thought it worth the mention, might be a 93 and carbon steel blades(which I like better than CV)here is the link if you want to see it: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Case-XX-Medium-stockman-3318SHSP-yellow-del...

Somebody might come up with a better match for you.

Adam I think CV stands for chrome vandium.(sp) I have a couple of those and the blades hold up pretty good. I am a bigger fan of carbon steel because it sharpens easily and holds an edge pretty good. ss is indeed surgical steel and although I have a few of those I don't like it for long term use. I just may buy the eBay one myself! lol

Looking to buy a Boker Fixed Blade knife. Pattern #015, or its sister, pattern 016.

Hey Ricky,

I see these on ebay every now & then. I'll keep an eye out and let you know if I locate one anywhere. Good luck with the hunt.

Thanks Roger!

I like the traditional shape of the old German hunting knife.

The bug has bit...lol.. I really like the model 11 in 4 1/2" blade. The handle is up for grabs, I can't make up my mind. I may go with stainless on the next one. What would be your first on the list and what steel and handle?
Real nice, I have never seen a Randall with a stag handle that is just okay, they are always great. Where they continue to find such great stag?

Robert,

Finding good stag is indeed a daunting task these days.  Hats off to any company that has not lowered their standard on stag just to produce larger quanities of knives

LOOKING 4 a BENCHMADE 940-801 Blue Handle.
