Anybody see the "What's Happening Today" on the GEC page? That red buffalo looks interesting. Any idea what this pattern will be?

Vicky,
We have all been real interested on what the 68 will be. I am still thinking the name "white owl" was dirived from the cigar. So with that in mind I say its a cigar whittler. What do you think it might be?
I also see there is a
any thoughts on that?
I haven't heard about the Lumber Jack Pattern yet but it sounds like it should be a beefy knife. As far as the #68 goes, I don't have a clue but it sure is fun to see it develop!
I am thinking the same thing David. If you look at picture number 1 it shows the frame but has no caption
Vicky,
your certainly right about how much fun it is to think about whats next
The #68 definitely has my attention, I like the equal end frame a cigar wouldn't bother me. I love the name so I think the knife will be just as good. Right now I'm going to enjoy the suspense of waiting, but I think they have another great one on the way.
Looks too small though. I would like to see an equal end thats more on par with the Camillus #23, 4 1/4" or so, not built on a 3 1/2" frame.
This knife is SWEET!!!!

The Regular clip interests me more than the spear, but I think they are both classy knives. I love the equal end frame, so I am definitely into giving one of these knives a try, I can't wait to see the rest.
Someone said on Bladeforums that the Northfield versions will have bails. I'm not crazy about bails so I may hold off on the Northfield.
I don't believe there are any plans to put a bail on the Northfield knives. The frame is 3 7/16 inches long. It will have a spear/pen blade combo, and a clip/pen blade combo in each handle material.
That's good news Bob! I just couldn't see the bail on this one.
