I don''t have many ad knives and only three are souvenirs.
The small pen knife with the open blade is from the Fransican Monestary in Washington D.C. Its in lusy shape but I only paid 50 cents for it. The souvenir of Florida was also 50 cents. Chimney Rock cost $5! That was a killer.
The others are ad for different companies.
I really like the tag line on the Chimney Rock Park knife, the timeless" Live It Up" promises a most active and fun filled vacation?!
The souvenir of Florida, what a great idea for 50 cents
The year was 1996. Pocohontas had just come out and we had an oppotunity to take the Kids to Jamestown and Williamsburg and the whole DC thing. Have no idea who made it but some artisan at Williamsburg
It was Donnie's reward for being brave enough to spend a week traveling in his truck with me and two kids.
The top knife is a USA made knife that is hard to take a pic of the tang stamp. But it say's Florida on the front. The light er was one I got from my dad. that was given to him while stationed in Thailand. The bottom is a knife that is stamped Providence Rhode Island, so i assume that it was an Imperial.I went through some stuff I have had for around 20 year's and this was some of it.
What a great reward..he probably would say he enjoyed the trip though!

Was that a Zippo I see there? That Thailand shows up well. I also can make out that Florida, makes you wonder what they had in mind. I am a big fan of old Imperials too and that with a cap opener on the end is pretty neat!

Looks like it should have a toothpick in it! Great pic for Colorado!

I bought this about 15 years ago when we were in Colorado for a soccer tournament. I guess I have been collecting longer than I realized while going through some of this stuff I had put up.
Very nice. I love that manicure blade.
