Mike I am glad you told me! That is absolutely gorgeous! Look at that scroll work and I have to say really a clean knife!

You might find this interesting too Mike, Yesterday the great Grandson of George Schrade joins iKnife Collector. his name is William Schrade. He is trying to become a knifemaker but lists these type of knives as his favorite. Makes you wonder as the Great Grandson, what does he have in his collection?

Hi Steve,
Glad you like it.
I"ll have to find william schrade on ikc, sounds like we need to become new best buddies!............:-)

Well Mike just click members at the top of the page and do a search. It will bring up his name. I know he was on last night and probably is wondering what all the hoopla is about. We are just a bunch of knife nuts who appreciate the history of knives! LOL

Real nice collection Michael!

just wondering, did you buy those from mark?  or on sharper deals?  I know mark and he can be a good source for switchblades.  and i recommend that you buy his book.  it's excellent.  I have bid on some knives at sharper deals but have not actually bought anything there.  in fact, I have been trying to find someone here at iKC that knows more about sharper deals.  always must be cautious, especially about switchblades.

Hi Lee, no I did not get them on that site. All were private purchase items.

I was actually asking mike allen if he got his there.

I was drooling over your collection michael because you have knives I am looking for.

I really want a satyr (almost had my hands on a nice one!!) and I am trying to track down one of the One Arm Man's knives.

If you ever want to trade or sell let me know and we can talk offline.

I have posted my switchblades in the antique switchblade group and on my page, but I will put together a pic of them and post here later for mike & michael.

Thank you for sharing those beauties michael!  excellent...

ok here are some of my switchblades.  I have other posted on iKC already.  Some Italian and French antique knives and a few more American.

These are nearly all American knives below, Press Button, Colonial, Presto, Schrade and two Edgemasters.  The one bone colored with a Gondola picture is an old Italian knife.

Nice knives Lee!!! I only go after Press Buttons and older Italians like Frosolone's. Not selling these any time soon.

Regards Mike
