Just when you think you've got enough different knife patterns, out comes the GEC #792312 Montana whittler. I'm particularly drawn to the Canvas Micarta version- that Micarta looks addictive................Any one got one yet, or any comments??????????????????

Gregory.

We dont have one yet but the calico is tempting and I hear it is coming out in Primitive Bone.

Don't have one, but it sure looks nice.

As whittlers go, I like it from the standpoint of the secondary blades.  The small clip and sheepsfoot configuration are good choices for this knife.

I'm definitely tempted, yet I'm fine with not rushing out the door to buy one.

If you get one, please share your thoughts with us, I'd love to see if they turn into a great one.

Just ordered the Prototype Canvas Micarta #79 from Greg at TSA knives. Started looking at his inventory of them 5 days ago and when payday came and I went to order one, there was only ONE left in the Canvas Micarta- so a prtotype it is!!! Can't wait, yippee!!!

Congrats on the Proto. Let us know what you think of the knife when it comes.  We ordered the Calico :)

By the Way.  Did you noticed that the certificate was signed by Ms. Patti and not Christine?  It must have come out while Chris was in ATL.  Hang on to it!!!

You have sharp eyes, Jan!!! Now that you mention it, I've never seen that name before on the COA's. Looking forward to checking out the calico- is that similar to appaloosa bone?

NICE...

Waited too late in the evening and had to use the flash.  This bone is hard to capture how beautiful it is.

Wow, thats gorgeous Jan.

I bet it's really something in hand.

Very nice Jan.  I could not resist any longer and will have one of the non-serialzed knifes in hand soon.  Congrats! I know you like the smooth bone and this one sure is nice.
