Hmmm, good question.  "What would you like iKnife Collector to provide more of----".......free knives? LOL!

iKC is already so good I'm not sure. Well, except, I guess most members don't care about such things, but how about having  smilies/emoticons available to use when we post. Most/all other forums have them.

Well, I like them! LOL! I think it adds a little "fun" to posts. AND, sometimes can show that a member is not being serious when the post is meant to be tongue-in-cheek. I'm a kidder, and sometimes I think when I post something it's taken completely seriously when I mean it to be tongue-in-cheek.  Smilies help for that and adds emphasis too.

Great point Craig, and thank you :) We did try to load some additional emoticons in chat but had no success. I can't believe they were only made for V-Bulletin Sites? We will review it again though and maybe it will work!

How about a "Knife History Research" area, center or whatever it should be called? A place where a collector could go and read about the history, or maybe basic information about a particular knife company? Like if a collector wanted to know; Who is New York Knife Company. And he/she goes to the section and can read a short, or long, rundown of who they are.

I don't know. It's just a rough idea. Maybe too much work?

It kind of exists but maybe we need a better tag for it?  It is under the bladesmith babes.  Sue has a disussion in there with some amazing info

Craig, you can always add emoticons from your pic file. Whenever I see one, on e-mails or on the web, I save them.

I wondered where you get all the cool little pictures! I like that monkey one! There are smilie places on the web too, but I get lazy going to them and digging around to find just the right one.

That's good. I was thinking along the lines of a book where you could go and just down an alphabetic  list of companies to find the one you want. Maybe it would be too difficult. Just a thought. When my two brain cells that are left come up with a thought I have to get it out or it's gone forever.
